The Scottish Junior Golf Tour initially started with a view to simply provide additional competition opportunities for talented under-14 golfers. Dean Robertson , ex-European Tour player and Kendal McWade , founder of Instinctive Golf became aware of the Tour and what we were trying to achieve and offered to compliment the competition side of the tour with skill development opportunities.

After an initial session at Carnoustie Golf Links, the feedback from the boys was unanimous - they loved the approach and they loved the coaches.

Steven Orr of Cranfield Golf Academy , one of the most passionate and knowledgeable coaches in the UK has joined Dean & Kendal to compliment the coaching available to The Tour  members.

	Dean is committed in his coaching to 'Playing to Learn' and his wealth of experience and knowledge at the pinnacle of the game brings with it amazing 'Peak Performance Skills'. In his long list of experiences he has played with and practiced with none other than Tiger Woods on a number of occassions.
	Kendal's vision and willingness is what makes Instinctive Golf so unique. He is totally committed to changing the "found it, lost it, fix it" culture of golf coaching and making the learning process more effective, more natural and much, MUCH more fun! Kendal has coached at the highest level and his impressive client list includes Ryder Cup star Paul McGinley.
	Steven of Cranfield Golf Academy  has seen time and again that when a golfer embraces a holistic approach to development, only then can they hope to achieve their full potential as a golfer. He is passionate about elite junior coaching and his motto for the boys of the SJGT is " If you focus on having fun and on learning something every day, the results will follow."
